This is the first time I've actually had someone break down how to build a course in such a precise, streamlined way. I feel so much further in this process than I did just a half hour ago. My initial statement looks something like this, "I help Christian women who are stuck in their health, whether due to illness or poor nutritional habits, to identify patterns and triggers that lead them to choose food over what they're actually hungry for so they can shatter those food idols and return to intimacy and surrender to the Father." Not 100% sold on this, I think it needs some more work, but this is pretty close to my goal.

Sunny, this was a very opportune time for me to watch this video. I've been working on my course for too long. And you are so right-- it's too long, too involved, and I am trying to erroneously build versions 2 and 3 into v.1. I have a longer, more far-reaching vision beyond this initial prototype. But today's video made me realize that the long game needs to iterate over time. If I try to build it all out now, it will overwhelm, and nobody will benefit- principally and notably the people who desperately need my course. Thanks!

Also I still have a lot more of your videos to consume, so you may have already answered this question, but I'd like to hear more about how to form the right questions for interviewing ideal clients in the beginning stages. Those of us who are knowledgeable in specific areas can shoot ourselves in the foot by not knowing how to get to their specific pain point or starting point. We can miss questions to ask them that will get to the real heart of the matter for them.

I hope you can see this even though it's months later. I am interested in creating a course that will help people build a home by saving on costs of materials and labor, understanding the need and value of an architect, knowing who they need on their team and when to bring them in, and creating a plan to pay off their home loan fast. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how to do this best, but even your YouTube channel is immensely helpful.
