How to Make an Affordable Slat Wall

I love the look of a slat wall, but couldn't justify the cost. Instead, I decided to make one from plywood for a fraction of the price. Here is a quick video showing how I brought this wall to life!

A *quick* video is an understatement. Hahaha. I am in the middle of building a new wall with slats but I am afraid the wood is going to be hard to find and to afford. Plywood may win in the end. Your idea is great. I wish you would have slowed down the video and had audio. Oh well. Can't have everything, right? Be safe out there.

Did you plan the spacing so there wouldn't be any gaps or a thin strip on the ends of the wall? I'm looking for a video that explains how to plan the spacing. We did a project like this and there was a weird gap/thin strip on the ends. Ugh.
