Everyone always talks about the old graphics, and yes I prefer the original graphics and artstyle over the chapter 2 and 3 versions but WOW. They nailed the artstyle, lighting textures everything. This is the best the game has looked in ages

There's a noticeable difference even on old gen consoles. It's kinda crazy how they updated the graphics so much while still managing to keep a stable framerate.

My favorite parts are anytime you stopped or went slowly through an area so I could just take in all the detail. There's so much! Like the lighting, the shadows, the reflected lighting, the textures on the couch and pillows, and the reflections on the wood floorboards, every pebble has its own little shadow, light filtering in through trees, the shimmering snow, the embers on builds in the fires, the effects under water! It's nuts to look at all the details! It's so good so clean so pretty!

As much as I was looking forward to a new season, I had no idea it was going to be THIS good. I picked up the game heavily when Zero Build was finally dropped, but even after delving into the history of previous maps and whatnot, this is the absolute best one yet. I though DX12 would still be in beta, but whew boy was I wrong. The game looks STUNNING. Each small rock has it's own shadow, and the lighting on everything else is breathtaking. Even the individual spokes on the wheels of the dirt bikes cast accurate shadows. I'm running it in 4K (or 2K on my PC) via GeForce Now 3080 and I'm still blown away each time I drop into a match. Hell, even the lobby looks great.

Graphics aside, I'm adoring the new map, and despite seeing others complain I like the weapons a lot too. Battle Pass is 150% on FIRE this time around and I don't feel like I'm dragging my feet completing it. Bravo to the team who went behind making it happen.

This is breathtaking! I guess the benefits of Fortnite being owned by the people that made the Unreal Engine is that they can use FN as a tech demo! All these crazy new innovations like Lumen and Nanite are actually in a free to play game, it's mad how far this game has come eh?

It's incredible. Absolutely amazing. I remember logging in Sunday morning and loading into the map. Even in the lobby the game just felt... different. Wild how much of a graphical improvement occurred

The way light realistically bleeds through the treeleaves is just like in real life. Lumen is basically simulating ray tracing in real time. That along with nanite proves there are gonna be a lot of great games coming up in the future on unreal
