Hello. I bought a premium series satin varnish. I applied it to the model. A week has passed. but it is erased with a cotton swab dipped in water. this is normal?

Hello Don,
What is the difference between the standard Vallejeo primer and the Mecha primers?

Don, your channel is the best. Straight up useful info without a lot of fluff. Question -- to get shiny black coat, can I add a bit of mecha gloss varnish to black primer? As an undercoat for metallics, for Necrons. Thank you.

Hi Don! Sorry to comment on an older video, but this is the one that pertains to my question. Could you do a video with placing masking tape over the primer and then removing it? The reason is that (with the shortage of Tamiya fine gray primer) I've been experimenting with different primers and I'm having issues with the primer adhering to the surface. I've tried sanding and washing with soap and with isopropyl alcohol and the different primers are still pulling off the surface. I've tried your method of several thin layer and, it did work better, it still wasn't perfect.

Hi, sorry if the question is a bit dumb, but what thinning ratio should I use for Vallejo premium primers and standard primers? thanks in advance

I am trying to use vallejo mecha grey primer, trying being the strong word. It runs on the part A LOT. I spray at 25 psi, 1:2:4 of flow improver, thinner, primer and it runs like crazy, I am using multiple coats trying to building the color little by little but it cover so little it take so much time and it takes me a lot to try cover a piece and I get it splashed all over it. Am I doing something wrong? I'm very light on the trigger but I think this is causing me to spend to much time on a part and overloading it with paint that never seems to stick. Should I pull the trigger more but move faster?

Hello my friend!!! Please allow me a question : instead of using vallejo flow improver in order to make your thinning sauce, can i use winsor & newtons flow improver ? yellow label line called galleria.

Thanks for always sharing your nice tutorials.
If I paint in this way, will I get a strong coating without having to sand the plastic?

How do the Mecha primers differ from the standard Surface Primer?

I think your finish with this mecha line is really good. Does your thinning sauce apply to non-primer Mecha colors?

Hi don i have a few questions

If i priming with mecha
It does have a satin finish right? If i does apply the Vallejo color with brush on top of it, will it get a good coverage?
Cause the surface it different from the normal surfacer which it is matt.
Or before i apply the paint, should i apply a matt varnish after i prime them?

Thank for the answers

Hi Don, great video as always! Can I mix mecha primer with a drop or two of mecha color? I can't find black primer locally, and the grey is too white as you said... So was wondering if it was possible to drop a bit of mecha black on grey primer.
