I usually mount the mini on something when I prime it. This makes it easier to manipulate it when priming

Hi thanks for this helpful video. Is there a reason we prime with black rather than a light colour ?

Even after 3 days the vallejo primer does not adhere to the figurine, if I pass it under water all the paint comes off.
I don't understand why?

Can you use Vallejo Model 70.950 as a primer?

Why don't you use a spray booth into a closed bucket?

You could of course speed up your cleaning by getting those 250/500ml plastic bottles with the long curved spout . Fill it with water plus 4-5 drops of washing up liquid ( heat it up in a microwave for 2 mins) Increase PSI then flush your airbrush pot (water based acrylics) with copious amount of the water...back flush ...empty the dirty water... wipe the pot. Then, with another plastic bottle full of your cleaner of choice ( I use 1/3 IPA- 1/3 Dist Water-1/3 winter windscreen wash)...slosh it through again...back flush. Then repeat with the hot water flush through... and your done. Remove the needle and check for cleaness. Hot water is the most effective for quickly removing all paint residue if sloshed through vigorously....your too gentle with cleaning I fell asleep watching :-) I only strip down my H&S / IWATA airbrushes once or twice per year. Some airbrush artists actually dunk their airbrush in a bucket of water and spray all the paint out underwater

I'd rather go back to lacquer base surfacer if cleaning is that process of totally taken apart my airbrush.
