Saiyans VS Viltrumites

Whether you've watched the anime Dragon Ball Z or the animated series, Invincible, it's probable that you're acquainted with their power and impressive abilities due to their biology and reputation. The Viltrumites and Saiyans are some of the strongest and most fascinating alien humanoids that have endured tough battles, fought worthy foes, and have surpassed their limits time and time again. Although the Saiyans have clear superiority in the feats department, the Viltrumites have their own fair share of adaptations that outshine the Saiyans in some aspects. But what were to happen if their capabilities were combined? Would the resulting hybrid be inferior to a purebred, or far surpass the pinnacle of both races? So, who wins between Saiyans VS Viltrumites? Find out as I go over both species and try to determine how strong a Saiyan Viltrumite Hybrid would be!

The average Viltrumite would beat the average Saiyan, but most exceptional and above average Viltrumites would be stomped by above-average Saiyans

One thing you overlooed is how Saiyans don't start showing signs of aging until near the end of their lifespans, which combined with the Viltrumite lifespan, means that the Saiyamite would be able to live thousands of years without aging and keep training the whole time.

-ridiculous durability
-built-in healing
-get stronger every time they almost die
-get stronger with age
-transformations
-impervious to most disease
-can hold their breath in space for long periods of time
-great stamina

Basically in 'gaming terms' Viltrumites at level 1 have some pretty potent stats, meanwhile Saiyan's at level 1 are just a little above average. But around level 100 things change. Viltrumites can't get any stronger now, but a Saiyan in theory has no level cap. So they can if they so desired get up to level 1000 or even beyond.

Viltrumite saiyan hybrid sounds absolutely horrifying the only downside I see is that the individual would inherit the ear weakness of the Viltrumite

I believe a Viltrumite's DNA, doesn't necessarily override others DNA but counteracts the negative eventually showing dominance. Saiyan DNA is active from day one and I don't believe it would be seen as a negative to Viltrumite DNA, so in my head a Saiyan-Viltrumite Hybrid would be disgustingly overpowered.

I have a feeling Kirkman draws a lot of inspiration from manga and anime. His other series tech jacket was basically his version of the guyver.

Here's something else to consider about hybrids. Viltrumite DNA eventually overrides the host species's DNA. However, even if this would effect Saiyan DNA, the hybrid probably wouldn't be shit outta luck. The MMO, dragon Ball online, takes place in a parallel age 1000, at least 200+ years after the main series. A certain percentage of earthlings at this time are descendants of Goku and Vegeta. Because it's been so long, these hybrid descendants have less than 1% Saiyan blood. Even so, they're still able to transform into Super saiyans. And given what we know about the Super Saiyan form now, what with s cells and everything, that actually kind of makes sense. S cells are hereditary and the more you have, the more your offspring inherit. It's one of the few and only species traits that sticks around.

- Fighting Abilities
- Fast Growth in Strengh by Training
- Better learning capabilities of almost every type of skill
Viltrumites Pros:
- Long AF life Spam
- Faster Healing no matter what kind of injury they face
- Can Breathe in Space
- Better Body efficiency in terms of stamina and energy
- Constantly having their power activated

A hybrid of the 2 would be more Broken than either

I have the Invincible guide and I really like how in depth it goes on Viltrumite biology. It explains in great detail how their "Smart Atoms" work. I sort of wish Dragon Ball also had a more hard science fiction guide that covered Saiyan biology the same way.

I don’t think think Viltrimite dna would completely overpower Saiyan DNA. That hybrid would be insane. They would essentially create a god.

Interestingly in DBZ, there is a race with even more impressive endurance than viltrumites, that being Frieza's race, those guys are nearly unkilleble without evaporating their whole bodies. Frieza could still fight loosing half of his body and arm, after which he survived in space for many weeks lacking most of his torso, legs, arm and half a head, and kept living despite it. Even non canon Cooler was nearly unkilleble, after being blasted to the sun, he survived many months in space being only half of his head, before finding "Spaghetti Star". Overall Frieza's race is just absurd in nearly every way possible, they themselves are already like Saiyans-Viltrumite hybrids

A hybrid would probably have to use a wish on the dragon balls to stabilize their genome so that the viltrumiite genes don't completely take over.

The one shortcoming of the average Viltrumite is that all of their power is housed inside of their bodies; they don't actually have any kind of energy projection. Just teaching one to use DB martial arts would make them ludicrously powerful

Imagine Broly battling every viltrumite, no vultrimite wouldn't even RIVAL his power because he can passively get stronger as the fight progresses or how long the battle will be.
