Gangs control the Twin Cities, don't ride any transit trains or busses alone, do not go down town at night, remember State statute demands that you have a DUTY TO RETREAT FROM CRIMINALS. Do not harm them. CATCH AND RELEASE METRO AREA COUNTY ATTORNEY'S.

Downtown used to have a thriving skyway system but they over improved it into massive vacancies. They raised taxes which meant rents & parking $ went up. They were constantly tearing up streets which made it hard to get to work & for businesses to get deliveries. Slowly the mallet businesses had to give up. Corporations heard employees complaints about costs. Then the criminals made bed the downtown Council wants Minnesotans to pay for revitalizing downtown - again. Just say no!

Geez, I wonder why it would decline in the ENTERTAINMENT district, COULD it be that is where they make a bulk of TAX revenue, and that area has to be PROTECTED, IE, more cops, more enforcement???? But overall, crime rose by 4%, not decreased?
