Hey Silvia ... we huge wins ... but realistically, we don't have those kinds of wins every day. If I can get 50x or 100x, that's pretty cool. The videos can be previews, or nostalgia, or trivia ... or maybe spawn a good discussion. This will tide us over until the next big hit!

I think your observation is very valid. It's all about wild reels and retriggering. The other symbols are usually nothing. I can totally understand the POWER SPINS having different potentials ... but too many of the POWER SPINS result in nothing. It always seems to be the wild reels that deliver the goods! I would love to see the FLYING MONEY random wilds (as an example).

That's the way it is ... play it ... or you lose it! I still love playing LUCKY PENNY. A lot of players do. You can still find a lot of this older machine around. Just a great design a lot of variation!

Hi eyechartny ... Vegas is generally a camera-friendly town. I use an iPhone a bit -- but my best video comes from a regular still picture camera (CANON) in video mode. That's all you need. No special equipment necessary (except maybe a big storage card). I carry 32GIG cards ... but I'm a heavy user! :)

Hi Lammy ... Pirates of the Deep is not a 243-ways game ... it has paylines. That is the major difference. The math model definitely makes a difference. I'm with you -- this one had some big pays!

I agree ... it would be cool to see more games carry this forward. I just love the feature in the Lord of the Rings games. It does create a new vibe for the player. You have a bunch of "potential" accumulated -- could be a jackpot, or a giant zero.

Great game concept...but everyone wants that Wild Reel spin the most. WMS knows this is what players want more of, so I expect we'll see a lot more of what their doing lately like Wonka, LOTR and Colossals. Good video Shamus!

Hi almis009 ... when they first came out, Planet Hollywood in Vegas had about a dozen or more of these! Lots of casinos brought it in. I'm not sure how it did, but the player reception seemed luke warm to me. It is really tough to have a hit game these days!

I tried this game back when I was in Alberta. Overall it reminded me of Lord of the Rings with the Power Spins collect feature. I like others prefer LOTR because of the large variety of bonus games, however saying that WMS did a pretty good job on this game too.

This was the game I had my highest multiplier win ever. On New Year's Eve, $.40 cent bet at Seneca Niagara, during the bonus wild waves came up fourth reel (ick), third reel (eh), first reel (okay, good win), fifth reel (wow, great win!)...second reel (ARE YOU KIDDING!!!). $720 for an 1800X multiplier for that hit alone. Bought myself a smartphone with the proceeds so I can finally start recording some wins.
