Hi, quick suggestions, it might help. your reflected blots, put them through and on the other side use a rubber washer and then a metal washer then a nut with loctite. It will keep it Waterproof. I hope this helps

Like you said Adam, I don't know if I'd want that cause of the hinge would get weak over time. Would be nice if they come out with a metal hinge with a reflective edge.
