I'm not an architect and I watch your videos just out of interest and your perspective but making your own templates and tools available to the public is super cool. Thank you.

How is this woman, an architect, which in itself is an extremely complex, demanding discipline... and still be able to produce content which really is of professional level quality.. truly amazing. She's a natural speaker, with incredible presentation skills... rare type of talent.. wow

You helped sell me on getting an iPad. I’ve been on the fence about it but seeing how you applied it to work helped me see how beneficial it would be for me at work as well. It would honestly be a game changer. Thanks!

Update: I did get an iPad/apple pen and it is in fact game changing.

I'm a network engineer by trade, but I love listening/watching these videos. Every once in a while, I need to submit propose floor plans for equipment like routers, access points, etc. Typically my job will be to physically be on site to map the locations, to then have the architects or whoever implement them into the proposed floor plans. After submitting mine, they usually send a response to the effect of "uhhh, these plans look completed, we don't know who did these. we don't have to touch them, they are good to go".

I have my iPad to thank for that. Great video!

I've been contemplating on whether or not I should get one for work knowing I go on site visits every now and then. But seeing that I won't need to carry a thick stack of drawings on one hand and my phone on the other absolutely justified my decision. Thank you for this! 😁

I use my ipad all the time, even for work, and I work in advertising. I get so curious how other people in different professions utilize the ipad i.e. doctors, lawyers, design artists, etc. and never really thought that it would be also useful for architects or engineers! This is awesome! I just saw this video on my page and I’m so happy I watched the whole thing. Loving the vibe! :)

In Procreate, Turn on “drawing assist” on the layer option when you have perspective grid on so you don’t have to draw a line and hold for straight line ;) Love your videos and I’m also Korean, a Architecture student studying in the US. Good to know you on YouTube!

I’ve been watching almost all your videos, I’m still in my early years of high school (sophomore year) but I’m trying to get a sense of what I wanna do in college, and architecture has always been up there! You’re videos are extremely helpful because they give me a perspective about being an architect that is literally impossible to find online. Anyways thank you! (Btw I’m still stuck between architecture and industrial engineering)

Yo, I'm loving the floofy hair; it looks amazing! 💅 Thank you for the templates! Another reason you can feel confident on site is the fact that you simply have the iPad. Having tools on you says: "I'm here to get stuff done!"

I was wondering how I can make the most of my iPad to have a creative outlet. This video really inspired me to try out the things you mentioned! 😍

As a practicing architect and a fan of hand drawing I have never been able to find the correct work flow process for me while considering time, quality, order etc until now. I can now see how an ipad is a GAME CHANGER for my career and am excited to go all out! Special thank you to your videos, your content and your advice I can finally take that step for my future. I also appreciate the available templates as well 😅

Hi, Demi!
I’m a structural engineer from México.
I really liked your video, your personality and the length. Congrats! I just subscribed a minute ago.
It’s insteresting to see we all project designers share some common challenges in the industry, like time!
It happens to me all the time: it was for yesterday! You are already late and didn’t know about it 😂

Me and my boyfriend have our own structural engineering company and we are moving to Montreal to open our first branch in CANADA! I’ll keep watching your videos and hope we can meet some day.

I came by your channel by accident and I immediately loved your voice. It's therapeutic. And then there are your topics...what a combo.

This is so informative! I am an architect in the Philippines and have my iPad as well but only used for watching movies and document editing.I never thought this could be very helpful to our profession! More videos to come! I enjoyed it a lot 🥰

Aside from using the iPad stand-alone by sketching or having out at a job-site, I keep it next to my computers (iMac 27" and M1 Max 16" MBPro). I'll be doing ArchiCAD on my iMac, Twinmotion on my laptop (the M1 Max Chip rules at this), and I'll use my iPad for ALL other apps so I don't have to switch out of the programs to do emails, or texting, Notion, or PDF review, etc., etc., (and of course, managing my music playlists as I work). I use the iPad natively, and "not" as an extended display. The thing that brings it all together is "Universal Control" which enables me to use a single keyboard, trackpad and mouse across all three devices. It's amazing how well it works!

When out at job sites, I actually save CAD plans/elevations out to high-res JPGs and use the Autodesk Sketchbook app for marking up, dimensioning, etc., while on-site. I found doing these tasks in a raster-based mode is much easier than marking up a PDF with vector annotation tools. It's basically like Photoshop or Procreate on the iPad as well.

Keep up the great channel!

Dani!! Thank you so much for this video! I just got my first iPad a month ago and I have been trying to figure out how to use it for architecture. I really appreciate this video!💙

Super duper ultra mega game changer, thank god for technology!!! I'm in interior design and I've been using this technique for almost a year now. One thing I hated the most when using pen and paper was the effort of erasing and sketching it all over again.

Your content is so flawless, I really don't understand how you haven't achived 1M yet. Please, keep the hard work. I love architecture and your approach amazes me!
