For my entire life I thought all of those jackstone figures were like a megablocks knock off...

I have a few Jack Stone figures, I remember thinking they were knockoffs for the longest time.

The reason why the AT-ST is missing its top half is because in the movie it gets caught in wires and gets ripped off, revealing that BB-8 is Controlling it

I actually like the star wars micro style builds as a concept; some are better than other. But adding an exclusive minifig would really take them over the top, at least for me.

I think, that the new May the 4th -sets are actually pretty cool, and a definite improvement.

The Lego fandom is so obsessed with the figures, that they’ve forgotten what it’s all about. Most of the videos are just mini-figure talk, sets are rated by their mini-figures and the mini-figure prices skyrocket as people are willing to pay set prices for them alone. Pretty pathetic honestly. I’d love to see a shift towards a more MOC centred fandom, but I guess that it’s just much easier to collect and line mini-figures on the shelf.

That Lego Slave one was dear to me as a kid, and looking back, I actually like how simple the early star wars sets were. Back then Lego sets were expected to be blocky with simple colors and a lot of exposed studs. Whats interesting too is that for the parts of the build that are on the inside they used a lot of random colors, which was cool for adding a bit of variety to the lego bin they eventually ended up in.

The lego technic R2D2 from the early 2000's was actually pretty good. It was a little iffy when putting it together, but once it was built it worked a treat.

Dude, I had absolutely no interest in Hockey but I loved those NHL sets as a kid specifically BECAUSE the faces looked like tribal masks or Moai. Loved adding them to my bionicles, who's names and mythology were already very Pacific Island themed. I guess that shows different strokes for different folks.

"These Star Wars mini-builds weren't exciting whatsoever"
Someone's gonna have to explain this one to me. Those builds look great, and *way* better than one measly mini-fig

I wrote a story about Jack Stone for school. I got an award for it.

Everyone seems to forget that the reason it's called Final Duel II is because you're meant to combine I and II. The 1st is the Emepror's throne. Granted, not too exciting but it's still better than just that one.
BTW I think that drawing-copying creature might be a frog.

The alternate build for the Technic Stormtrooper was a cool spaceship, but even that got disassembled when I decided Kopaka needed a gun and jetpack.

With the final duel set, its important to note it was one of 2 sets you were meant to combine into one. The other half of the set was the Emperor on his throne with a window behind him with Darth Vader.

The final duel set was amazing. So much nostalgia.

That soccer sign board is probably the best build ever rivaling the UCS falcon

The “Manta Warrior” set has the same amount of pieces as a Lego Mario power-up pack, but it’s less than half the price

The Final Duel II was actually my first Lego Star Wars set back in the day and I was fairly happy with it as a kid. :D
Also the Jack Stone line was my favorite for some reason. Lego did produce a short movie about him on VHS, which I liked as a kid. Maybe that's why I had almost every set in this line. :D

The moment the Battle of Hoth set appeared on screen I was in love with it, which made me very surprised that it's actually on the list and not a foil for something else on the list. xD
