This is probably one of the scariest theme in a zelda game imagine you're just chilling at your house and then all of a sudden you look around and you see people panicking running away as the moon is closing into the earth you wanna escape too but you have this feeling that tells you to stand still and stare at the moon and accept your fate, everyone you knew and love are probably thinking the same thing

Watching it as an adult, it's surprising how creepy this game was or how menacing the moon formed that I hadn't noticed as a wee child. It's like the moon gets more and more twisted as time passes by, I think I would shit my pants if that was coming down at me from the sky like that o-o

I really like the change of tone at 0:35, it’s like the second one, but sped up, a little cheerish, but also fast-paced, it’s like it’s telling you that there’s still hope, but you have to H U R R Y U P. This sentence can be sad in different contexts, at the end of the song, it just stops, implying that now, there is no hope left

Got this game after being obsessed with Ocarina of Time. Thought it would be a joyful adventure.

My teenage self was not expecting the heavy themes of existential dread and grief, not including the horror of a child being snuffed out by a wall of apocalyptic fire.
