Opel Zafira B module for folding mirrors via remote

Custom built micro-controller for power folding/unfolding of mirrors via a remote key. The mirrors unfold upon unlock and fold upon lock or deadlock (selectable with a micro switch on the module).

The operation of factory fitted button n the driver door switch is preserved, thus the mirrors can still be manually folded/unfolded by pressing the button.

Great Mod got one of these on my Astra van Sportive SE and I also managed to convert the facelift mirrors to powerfold looks great as well

I made something similar when i had a Zafira.

I can see you made the same error as me.

When locking, you should include a delay before folding, because if the owner has comfort closing windows and the windows are down and they press lock and hold to close windows, the mirrors will be folded in before the window is up and the mirror will potentially be rubbing in the glass. I know mine did and it left a mark after some years.

Also, did you remember to include a signal to not fold the mirrors when the ignition is on. Otherwise people with anti-hijack locking of the car doors when the car goes above 15 km/h will have their mirrors folded when they drive off

Hello!I own an Opel Astra H 2007, 5 doors, hatchback and i retrofitted power fold mirrors, the car didn t had from the factory and i wanted to ask if there is some modification i need to make to the mirror switch module of the car, like a permanent +12v on the switch for your remote power fold module to work?like you did in one of the tutorials?thanks!
