Jesus. Don’t do what he’s doing. This is not the way to do it on these CPUs. You need either one pea size blob and that’s it, or to use a guard and thinly spread a bead out. Remember you’re not trying to create a large pool between the CPU and block, but just fill in the microscopic groves between the two metal layers. Metal to metal is ideal, this just fills those 1/100th hair sized diameter of milling imperfections. Doing what he’s done above could actually raise your CPUs temps.

Folks. You need to also think about the screws. The harder you screw the more pressure is going on the paste which presses the paste. The more you screw the more shit is going to spill. Don't overdo it. I can see some people screwing until they can't. That's the wrong approach. Well. Maybe unless you are building a pc for a jeep or something that moves around a lot. But pc generally don't move slot. Does it sit sturdy? Enough.

Seems to me your got your knowledge from the verge .
Thats not how to do it just put a pea size amount in the middle and call it a day your hands dont put any preassure on that cpu compared to screwing down the aio to it so please i feel like alot of people who have no idea how to deal with pcs making videos and creating misinformation about how to do things .
Next time please do your research and dont go by only "oh that looks good to me" way
