Better recipe for you to try
Caramel

Add
-1 cup butter
-1 cup Corn syrup
-1 brown sugar

Stir on medium high heat until combined and bubbling

Add
-1 can sweetened condensed milk

Cook while stirring constantly on medium heat for 5 minutes

Take off heat

Add
-splash of vanilla extract
-2 teaspoon of salt

Mix.

Remove kernels from popcorn

Add Carmel to popcorn and mix

Should make about 6 bags worth.
