My wife did crazy advanced calculus classes in high school and I'm a major survivor nerd and while the show interests here we only do about a season a month. Somehow we were talking about physical vs mental challenges and I pulled up on youtube and started playing the Fishback math challenge. Before Jeff could even finish explaining the challenge she said "assign each symbol a number plus 1, minus 2, multiply 3, division 4". I'm really good with puzzles but her brain clearly works more like Stephen's.

For any one wondering about 21:38 the auctions in the past had offered a challenge advantage and every one in the past who had bought them had easily won a challenge do to the advantage so every one was saving their money to hope to buy an advantage. Mike not buying the 20$ letter form home meant he had the most money so he’d easily be able to buy the advantage. So people gave up their letter from home to make sure Mike didn’t have the most money and he couldn’t win the advantage.

I've never seen survivor and figured I'd just put this on for background noise. This was so fun and interesting and I'm a huge Yau-man fan now.

When I saw Spencer do that puzzle and then we found out he memorized it from the season before.. I went and studied a bunch of Survivor puzzles, and even practiced on one's that I could.. my daughter made me a miniature Tower of Hanoi in woodshop at school and I can now do it in like 12 seconds (longer if it's huge heavy pieces lol but still.. fast)

Amanda's brain thinks differently to most other People. IMO, she has extremely high problem solving skills.

It's easy enough to come up with a winning strategy watching this show at home, but Amanda came up with these game winning strategies in the heat of the moment, where everyone was under an incredible amount of stress.

Yays, Australian Survivor gets a mention! HIGHLY recommend watching if you can stream it somewhere, the 2023 Heroes VS Villains season we just had...*chef kiss*
One single man basically ruled the entire show. The blindsides, the manipulation, the strategy - so many eliminations were just nonstop screams from those watching it. If you like a strategic game, it's one to watch!

You will have to make an addendum to this and include Carson Garrett from season 44, for literally 3D printing many puzzles and practicing many of the challenges at home before he was on the show. It def gave him a leg up knowing the solutions/strategies to many of the puzzles/challenges

Joe facing sideways and nearly backwards makes so much sense to me. In my experience it's much easier to lean forward when not against something. Basically center of gravity I think
