In which John creates a list of the six most important conjoined twin pairs in history (in his humble experience) while also discussing his massive zit. Twins discussed include Chang and Eng Bunker, Millie and Christine McCoy, Lori and George Schapell, Giacomo and Giovanni Tocci, and the Biddenden Maids.

EDIT: I'm probably wrong about the Emancipation Proclamation freeing the McCoy sisters, although I haven't confirmed it. The E.P. did free some slaves, but most weren't freed until the 13th amendment.

There are conjoined twins who are conjoined at the head and their brains are connected. They can taste what the other twin is tasting, see what the other twin is seeing, feel what the other twin is feeling, and can talk to each other without talking.

Watching this 3 years later, it was actually just beautiful to hear John talking about relief for the floods in Queensland, Australia. I lived in QLD at the time, and it was a pretty rough time for a lot of people. If I'd seen this back then I would have been super excited!

The last pair was my favourite, and the only pair that really made an impression on me. The thought that the usual anatomy of the sisters' body allowed them to stay together and therefore were able to rely on each other through all their troubles, finally drove home the point you've been pushing for so long that the situation of conjoined twins is as good as it can be bad.

Interesting factoid: Singleton is also a term sometimes used by people with Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder) when referring to people who live with only one identity.

Thank you John for the shout out about the floods. This is a really difficult time for my state of Queensland and it is so tragic this has happened. My city of Brisbane is in such ruins, thousands of people are affected, but it just shows the Aussie and Queensland spirt is alive! I was very touched when john mentioned the floods in Queensland. Even though I wasn't a nerdfighter at the time, and my town was not flooded, the floods had an emotional effect on every Queenslander. And even though the floods occured almost 2 years ago now, it is still wonderful to know that people outside of Australia had heard of Queenslands's plight and were able to help.
