We didn't expect to find an employee in abandoned building

We had a great conversation with the employee who gave us a bit of history about semi-abandoned building.

It's probably like the movie Office Space. He was supposed to be laid off but there was a glitch so that he kept getting paid and he kept showing up to work. When they fix the glitch, he will burn the place down.

Due to an admin error at the bank, he kept on receiving his paycheck, so he figured that he was obliged to keep on coming to work. That was 15 years ago. The fact that his boss and other colleagues didn't seem to be present didn't bother him, "ah they're probably on holiday, they'll be back soon".

He explained the purpose of the building ... but never passes on that explanation to the viewers.

For those wondering Why there's an employee in the abandoned building.
This looks like a power generating facility and before demolition the owners should make sure they recover the salvage value of the assets. And there's lots of legal and technical formalities before the demolition . That may be the reason the employee is still in that building.

We got this massive "abandoned" limestone factory and its got working electricity randomly around it, in some transformer room you can hear a loud humming noise, we walked outside and I found a switch and flicked it, the whole inside yard lit up at night and we legged it so fast :D Seems they keep the electrics working so they can light up places and use the high towers of the factory for 4G uplinks. The place is so weird because we once encountered two girls taking photographs of the place and maybe some instagram style pics and they didnt seen to be even trespassing..
