Great video! And thanks for keeping up the videos with everything going on with COVID! It really is little slice of normality for me. 👍

Hi Adam. Love your videos as always. Is there any chance you can cover MFA/2FA connections? ie Automatically refreshing a dataset that needs a password and the authenticator app..?!?

Hi Adam, does SSO via kerberos for import queries work for RLS, that is set in our datawarehouse (AD grops)? Thank you very much! Thank you for all your videos, simply awesome! 🤩

Great info. Thanks Adam.I am using DirectQuery to Azure SQL DW but don't see the OAuth2 in the Authentication methods while trying to configure the DirectQuery Data Source. The only options I see there are Basic and Microsoft Account. Is there any setting on the Power BI tenant in order to implement SSO for DirectQuery.

Excellent video. I am assuming you can do the same for SAP HANA?

That would be awesome but if you show us how to do it in SAP BW or SAP HANA. It's a nightmare trying to do it.

I love your content. I am designing a direct query report with a connection to Ms Azure. I struggle to change the timezone as the db stores time in GMT time zone. I understand that DirectQuery connection limits data modelling functionalities which includes the time intelligence. Do you know if there would be another way to work around this issue?

This is a great video! We were able to implement our SSO in minutes with this video. Thanks a ton for putting this out there. Now if you have one for SAML and HANA that would be great!

Hi Adam great tutorial! One question..
We didn't have to type any user name or password, that's understandable. But how is it fetching the credentials or what's going on internally to make it work?

Great video. Question: Around minute 6:00 you mention that the data sources have to be unique. I take this to mean that if you have 3 different SQL servers in the same domain (Prod, Stage, Test) that you should use different domain-based SQL services accounts. Is that accurate? I have this very situation that I am trying to setup now. Or can you get past this by using the single Prod domain-based SQL service account and 2 computer-based service accounts (NT Service)? I am still trying to wrap my head around all of this.

Thanks for the video. I have done all the steps outlined here, but still not able to connect using SSO. Have a ticket opened with Microsoft Support for over 2 months now, and they can't resolve it. Error is Would you have any ideas?

Is there a video or document for SSO between Power BI Service to SAP HANA

Hi I check you video it is good, please create a video for sso between SAP BW and Power BI. Normally SAP Systems are not in the domain, they are on unix machine and not part of windows domain. We have successfully configure sso on SAP System and its working fine but we are struggling with on premise data source

Hey Adam!! Hope you are doing wonderful. Is there a way for date slicer to have today’s date set as default visually?

Also would be great if you show us how to do it with Oracle... It's a nightmare too

I am getting an error. "We reached the data gateway, but the gateway can't access the on-premises data source." Anyone get anything similar. Kinda desperate.

#1st Hey Adam! Thanks for this video. Helping me on my preparation.
The last roundup I posted this question:
"Related to Coronavirus, any chance that Microsoft postpone the June deadline for Exams/Certifications - (PBI Exam 70-778) ?" Thanks!

I believe that doing this could be a huge security risk. I think I can replicate the issue if you are interested but unless I did something wrong, you could be exposing secure data to people that don't have access to it. I discovered this trying to do this but with a data flow instead. Adam Please contact me if you have any interest in what I found.
