I tried out zero build mode two weeks ago, prior to this I was strictly an apex legends player, as for my shooter of choice anyway. After trying it out I have completely switched over to Fortnite and enjoy this much more than I expected I would.

These videos have been of great help. I have added a lot of these tactics into my playstyle and I have had a lot of fun. some fights I win, some I lose. but what matters is I'm having a good time with the game.

I have found shockwaves can be useful against the bus if you can get a good angle. You could end up flipping the bus on it's side or roof. This has forced some of my opponents to abandon the bus, opening them up for an attack.

Always have a cow catcher In the end game if u end up in a open zone.. it's like a golden rule for me, cuz its very useful 👌

Great video, Jake! I actually used this strategy last night to win 2 games. I put myself in positions of cover within the circle to allow me to get off the more consistent shots with the AUG & SMG as well as controlled the area the other player wanted to control which made them ultimately have to push towards me and get killed running directly into my LOS. Thanks man!

really great advice for new to middling players (finger pointed at myself haha) Do you ever carry a heavy sniper or only the striker burst? I see you often start fights with striker pump then follow with SMG...does that depend on how close/far you are to opponent? Or is there another reason for that specific series of shots?

Before this season I never considered playing Fortnite. With zero build mode I play everyday with my buddy and even got my wife playing with me!

TIP: if someone is driving a battle bus and you hop on you should always switch seats onto the light turret and they will be on the heavy turret so you can blast them. (WORKS 99.9% OF THE TIME)

I really like zero build and I don't think I play normal mode.
One problem to me is there are many campers with shotgun in solos. now I prefer to play trios or quads other players are more aggressive

One thing I'm happy about for next season is tanks being vaulted it's so annoying when I literally get a 20 bomb then get one shot by a tank like come on please epic just vault offensive vehicles in zero builds
