Thanks for the video! I have been trying it too - in my case, given that it was announced as beta, that it has been trained just with Adobe Stock + public domain images, and the fact that they are just joining the party, I didn't let my hopes get too high, so it is more or less what I expected (still feels weird to say that something as amazing as text-to image is "what I expect"!). The only thing that was even subpar related to my expectations is the banned words - I hit them so easily, many times just by including the name of an artist or just anyone famous for that matter.
I also have the feeling (more with Firefly than with other text generators) that they might have gone a little too far with the "remove stereotypes bias" thing, but this isn't a concern since one can always specify the desired sex, race, age, etc. if there are persons in the photo.
What I have liked is that, at least for now, it is relatively fast and I haven't seen any usage limit.
Anyway, thanks for your video, as usual you include a lot of interesting observations and remarks. 👍

The real positive using Firefly is the work flow in Text image you really can rework your selected image down till you get to what you want with no pile of different versions being left in the wake of you creative process with less knowledge of prompting. .

You can lay a style over text in Affinity Photo I think or even photoshop itself.

I feel the same way as you I think just disappointed in what Firefly actually is on the top level advertisement it is gold and I've got to have it but in reality and practice it's really not that great.. yet hopefully lol

It’s reasonable to expect that Creative Cloud subscribers would be first to test Firefly, but there are more than 20 million subscribers…too many for a true beta.

It’s not very good unless you want to create cute text.. Other then that… It has a LONG way to go. It’s also very limited.. Half of what you type goes against their rules.
