And the one "from factory" car that trumps most of these was the '03-'07 Volvo S60R/V70R. Utterly understated, utterly ignorable, and utterly awesome.

I love my 2008 SAAB 9-5. Reliable, fast, comfortable, and really, really safe. It's listed at 260 hp, but it sure feels bigger than that.

Got a soft spot for those Saab wagons, wish Saab was still around though :/

It was the SAAB 9-3 Viggen with the B235R engine which out accelerated the Porsche 911 in that test. The engine was detuned for less horsepower in the smaller, lighter weight 9-3 (230hp vs 258 in the 9-5), but had similar torque output of 258 lb ft.

You forgot the Audi RS2, 1996. At the time, it was the fastest Wagon. 5-cyl engine, 315HP, AWD, 0-100kmh in 5.3 seconds...
