In this video I will be talking about 2024 Honda Africa Twin as a long term owner. Do I still like it as much as the day I purchased it brand new off the showroom floor?

I’m really wanting electronic suspension aswell for the very reason you just mentioned. Stiff for aggressive street riding and softer for rough trail and dirt roads(I’m not that good off-road)
The tires I’ve been using are the Shinko 804/805. They stick like glue on road and very decent off
I ride a 2017 AT manual

Ive come to a very similar conclusion about my 24 ATAS as well. As a pure transportation device it’s excellent, but, like many modern Hondas it’s rather uninspiring to ride. I’ll be looking for something different next year, Tiger Sport 800 possibly.

After using a set of Dunlop Trailmax Raid on my 2024 Africa Twin AS ES manual, i bought a Continental TKC 70 Rocks for the rear & i bought i Metzeler Karoo 4 for the front. I will install them before next spring.

Yes, you can make a bona fide review of this bike & I get tired of guys getting a loaner for maybe the day or weekend thinking
they'll share some pearls of wisdom with us? They can't know too much after 1-2 days if they rode it that much? I'm 5'6" and I
think I could handle the height of this one but it's got way more electronic stuff than I'd ever want on a bike. But I still like the
way you describe the bike's features so let's peace & GB ALL

I like everything about the bike EXCEPT the color schemes!

Does access to the airfilter not annoy you?

I'm curious to know your thoughts on how the base model with a 21 inch front wheel compares with the Adventure Sports on twisty roads. With the base model can you still ride agressively in the twisties and have fun or does it feel like a big step down from the AS with the 19inch front?

How is the maintenance and related costs above and beyond oil changes?

Is it really better than your 22’ model off road? I’m hesitating between the 22’ and the 24’. I really could use your input since you’ve owned both. Thanks!

Toss on a set of the traimax raids. 50/50 tyre and still very respectable on road performance and bloody good off road. TKC 70 yep, good tyre but in the wet? I think they are like riding on wet mud.

What made you decide to go back to the AT over the Tiger 900?

In my state, we can split between vehicles at stoplights, to help prevent riders from being hit from behind by distracted drivers.

It looks like you've got pretty large Panniers (which is what I'd like to do, when I get mine) have you tried going between vehicles with them on? Is it possible?

Also, which Panniers are those? I tried clicking on your website link, but all I get is "403 forbidden"

Without watching the video, if this one is just like the others, he will end up selling the bike 😆

Just a fyi I was in Canada coming back from Alaska and left my fog lights on hard wired my bad, my bike wouldnt start its a dct when the voltage gets low the dct locks it in drive which disengages the starter almost had it towed very expensive. Got it started with help of some nice people. Cannot find replacement battery in Canada lithium yeah $800 Canadian if you could over $600 in US just a beware of low voltage on a dct.

Next video: I'm selling the scrambler and going back to a leopard.

Go for the Scrambler. As functional a bike as it is, it also gives an emotional connection like few other bikes do. Thanks for all of your videos. Your channel is excellent.

Going up steep dirt roads, the DCT allows the rider to stand up on the pegs and lean forward. The rider can’t don’t this with a manual transmission unless they are expert enough to shift gears while standing. 🤷

"Still the best" at what? While I think they are great bikes I can't think of anything that that they are the best at.
