The Australian incoming passenger card goes beyond its Canadian or American counterpart by requiring anyone who is a non-citizen to declare whether he or she has a criminal record. Selecting "no" on that card by someone with a criminal record can mean hopping on the 1st available flight back to the person's home country.

What about an arrest for a bag of potato chips and charges withdrawn and fingerprints deleted can you still go to the US? In Canada it's theft under 5, 000 which is a huge sounding charge it means somebody who can steal a diamond necklace worth $4, 500 is the same charge as opening a bag of potato chips in a grocery store

I have had a dui for marijuana all it says on my driving abstract is dui for (drugs) and I also
did restorative justice for criminal mischief as it was my first offence so I don't think I was
charged with a criminal record. I am planning on going to Vegas will I be denied entry?

I got arrested for 'assault' which was touching a bouncers face, even though his buddy had just pushed me violently, bear in mind I am a 5ft 4in 49 yr old woman, I was pushed to accept the conviction as I was vulnerable (grieving) at the time, how would this affect my wish to travel to USA in 2 years time?

If I got an assault level four charge in the US dismissed can I enter Canada?

funny that assault is not considered important but marijuana is considered so much more dangerous. Legal system is quite subjective in reality
