hello great video. I have 2 outdoor speakers powered by the sonos amp. If my outdoor tv does not have hdmi arc, is there another way i can hook up my tv to the sonos amp and play through the outdoor speakers?

Can you use the new Sonos Amp to take the surround signal out of the HDMI cable, amplify the front audio to your front speakers via it’s speaker terminals and send the surround audio wirelessly to a set of Play:1’s, Play:5’s or Sonos One’s?

According to SONOS website the new AMP can run in 'Dual Mono Sound' instead of Stereo. Would you be able to do a quick 3 minute video showing this? Opens the potential to use 1 AMP to power up to 4 ceiling speakers spread throughout the house. No one on YouTube is talking about this feature.

Can you connect the ARC to the amp then use the beam through WiFi for front left right center speaker??

I’m thinking of buying the new AMP. In a set up with two BW 684 s2 in front and two sonos 1 speakers in the back. And connected to my tv. Is it possible to listen to music in stereo with only the two BW’s and switch to all four speakers for the tv?

With either amp if I wanna hook up my turntable do I need an amp for the turntable since it does not have built in amplifier or do I ply straight in?

thanks for review. I have a playbar with optical audio cable coming from TV now. Unfortunately, TV strips surround info off the optical out. But it does support ARC. I'm wondering if this might be a work around to get back to a surround sound system the way I did with wires before Sonos?

Great video thanks! Curious if you could augment an existing Sonos surround system with the AMP and 2x front speakers?
To clarify, I have. Playbar, Sub and 2x Play1s as my current setup. Could I add an AMP and two more speakers in the front to play the TV audio as well?

Also would be interested to see how the AMP compares to the AMP:CONNECT when it comes to playing vinyl!

Very informative, thank you! Being new to Sonos I was wondering if I could use this amp along with my existing Playbase to power third party rear channel speakers and a third party sub woofer to create a 5.1 system?

Would this be the best option to use the Sonos set as a surround set? my setup would be: NEW AMP with 2 passive speakers connected as front, 2 Sonos play:1 as rear and a SUB connected to the NEW AMP. I don't have any space for a Play bar or boost under my TV unfortunately. Do you have other suggestions?

Hey there, thanks so much for the vid! I have a sub (2. gen), playbar and 2 Play1 as a sourround setup and and all different rooms each one Play1. My question is - can I use Airplay 2 on my current setup and make it work? Because since with the new AMP? Till now it seemed Sonos forces me to replace all my 5 Play1s in my flat to be able of that 🤯 Does my Question makes sense? Lol THANKS IN ADVANCE!
