No sink no problem! This is how I wash dishes with little or no water! I am going to show you how and why I wash my dishes this way and tell you why I may never put a sink in my van!
Weather you have a simple van or an elaborate vanbuild or School bus or even an expensive class A RV, this video is for you. Looked this up seeing if there was something better than what I was doing, and it seems like, nope, I pretty much got it haha. Shop towels are smart. I do use an isopropyl spray as well to disinfect but I honestly don't think it's necessary. Also you're totally right about the friction of the towel + drying wrt to bacteria. A study on hand washing found that one of the most important factors in reducing bacteria when washing hands (aside from soap) was paper towels, rather than hot air.

Great idea.in the past I have wiped my dishes and I pour a little bit of boiling water from a kettle and wipe again. It gets them really clean. Thank you

I currently have a blocked kitchen sink in my home, and I've been trying to be frugal with dishes, but I'm running out and so did a search on Google for how to get the dishes clean. When I first started watching, I was sure this wasn't going to be what I needed, but it was, because my unstated but biggest scariest issue was if I used a basin to wash in, how would I get that grey water outside when I normally need a walking stick to get to the grassy area and there's no way I could carry the basin without making a huge mess. (I also have a tremor). I definitely have a spray bottle with vinegar and I have paper towels. This is doable. Thank you so much and I hope all your journeys lead you to some great spaces.

I usually sleep in my sisters couch once a week and I either wait 1-2 days and wash my dishes at her house or wherever I know I won’t be at her house I will dirty the most 3 dishes at a time and was 1-3 dishes in any clean public sink I can find which is not always easy to do but I’m so excited now to try this method and wash my dishes this way. It will save me a lot of time and headaches on where I can wash my dishes next.
