"C.W. McCall" was one of the consummate story-tellers to come out of the 70's "folk era" (lacking anything better to call it). He just had a knack for lyrics and production that perfectly fit the times. "Wolf Creek Pass" - a real road; I've driven it - was the very first album I bought as a kid. My grandfather was a trucker, and introduced me to McCall as a very young child. Always fond memories of this music...
