I love using colored foam and it has turned into a great marketing tactic for my business. It always attracts attention from the neighbors and no one else in my market seems to be using it.

Using a snowfoam through an ik foamer or sprayer i can use considerably less water and product than with a traditional pressure washer and cannon. Ergo, foam is purely for fun. And colour adds more fun to the process.

My local self serve CarWash in Perry Hall, Md. has colored snow foams. Been using them for years and No staining to my vehicles or the concrete in their Bays.

What's important to me is that the bond holding the road film is release so that it comes off without the aid of a pressure washer or manual intervention that could cause scratches. Even heavy degreasers don't work after dwelling on the paint.

I think a prewash like bilt hamber that was super green would be amazing! Way less chance of staining things. Like brushes or wash pads.

Hey Jimbo…I’ve used yellow myself. Definitely need no more than 2oz…I agree with a few ppl in the comments, serves no purpose than the wow factor. I could see using these colors to attract more customers and that’s about it. Good video tho, it was fun to watch.

The only time i wish i need a color one is when am doing a white car. So i could i know based on my norm if i missed anything on the hands on step. As you well pointed how foammy can it get? how much cleaning power does it have and how slick it is and I don care what end color is

I know Adam’s does it every so often. I think it hasn’t caught on because of fear of staining and maybe how much you have to use so it isn’t cost effective? I think it looks pretty cool.

Some soaps get in the door jams and stain the rubber/ plastic in there.

Coloured snowfoams from UK brand Alien Magic Car Care, are both effective removes grime, road salt and traffic film. Its pH neutral and doesn't stain anything. Thus its its not recommended to use on soft-tops or single stage paint. The development of their product are on another level.

I don’t know why people keep pointing at the micro bubbles and talk about how the “good quality” shampoo clings onto the dirt and grime and somehow it’s a benchmark to look for when buying a car shampoo.

This would be great for marketing purposes if you run a service. However, is good for commercial use? As in does it has any disadvantages because of the color compared to the regular white foam?
