It is SO bad. This is like season 1 Michael Scott on The Office.
It would be funny if it were an SNL sketch. But it's real. Tarantino really did this.
And he regularly does it. Watch any interview of his by a black reporter for a black entertainment media outlet. He does this "homeboy" persona. It's embarrassing.

I've had people talk to me this way. The jive talk, the botched Ebonics,  it's flat out insulting. It's like going up to a homosexual and putting on a "flaming gay" voice. Just be yourself, it's that simple.

It's weird because you can tell it's a vernacular he actually understands and and speak naturally but it's this really outdated form of it that kinda shows what era he grew up in and exactly when he stopped being around black people, plus he's just a weird guy in general, so it comes off as really bizarre.
