We add our Type L Danish War Axe #254 to our regular line of products. These axes were a popular weapon during the Viking period right up through the end of the 11th century. Many of the representations we have of these axes come from the Bayeux tapestry, an embroidered work depicting the events surrounding the Norman invasion of Anglo-Saxon England in and around 1066AD. In the tapestry there are over 200 depictions of armed men, and out of those 79 are depicted in armor.

My favorite. I like all weapons but I seem to be drawn to axes like a moth to a flame. Type L is my favorite.

This is my favorite weapon of all time (the Type L)! Also, if I could only use one weapon in a zombie apocalypse, I would use this weapon

I guess it's true what they say - everything is bigger in America. Even replicas of Dane axes. That thing is almost twice as long and big as real historical Dane axes.
