I hope you consider making a full fledged UE5 rendering tutorials for Archviz one day, I know the engine is huge and nobody can really cover everything in it so it can be focused on advanced materials or lighting/Lumen or animation, any aspect youre interested in really. im interested in UE5 because games in general capture life within spaces in a way no single render can, its the only way you truly experience a design in all its conditions. I think if you tackle the engine in bite sizes the way you tackled Rhino or Vray it would be a very successful series. thank you very much for your efforts, keep up your fruitful work!

*For anyone having problems with the line trace try* Connecting "Get world location" to the Start of the "line trace by channel" and to an "add" then connect the "multiply" to the "add" and connect the "add" to the end on "line trace by channel" *Solution is at **36:27*

Actually, there's no need to check for door opening each tick. It works fine when we check the angle right after interact event before the branch node.

I'm especially interested in different kinds of "interaction". I'd like to turn knobs and push buttons for a product demonstration game. I'm wondering if we can rig the robot's arms / hands and maybe create predetermined animations. Can you create this instruction? Or make a recommendation as to where to seek it?

sorry, i think you need not to add InteractBP to your ThirdPerson. It is enough to add this interface to interactable objects. check it.

Hello if I imported the model from Revit lets say., via Datasmith, do I still need to create a pivot actor for the door ? I found that you can also change (offset) a mesh pivot point directly in UE. By the way would also be great if you can have more tutorials about these kind of interactions, like sliding doors, turning lights on off, music. etc. And another topic which is of great interest is what are the ways to share the project to a potential client. Other than pixelstreaming or wetransfer :) . Some basic exe packaging or some other online ways. Unortunately UE does not support Webgl like Unity. Anyways I would really avoid pixelstreaming, its very laggy and honestly I dont think many people use it, but who knows maybe someday with better technology it will work better.

This is fantastic, thank you! Do you have any pointers on how to make sure the doors and windows go back the original location when set to 0, 0, 0? (1:13:57) I have set the locations in the blueprint as instructed at (1:05:11) - when I do it, it goes to the 0, 0, 0 origin of the UE space. I feel I may I have missing a step or checkbox of some sort

Hi so, ive managed to get the text working, and in the earlier timeline of the video, the "door" working. but now at the 59:33 spot, the lines all are going on the opposite side that im looking at, neither they wont come close to me, they always go out of the map basically

I have built a door in blender and made a hinge that allows the door to open both ways but the hinge has to be all separate parts how can i get the door to use one hinge in 1 direction and the other hinge in the other direction i have every already in unreal engine i just now confused to where t o start now i have tried a few ways but it just uses one hinge not both
