In this video I show you how to use Slack's Block Kit UI framework, which allows us to create "blocks" in our message to the channel in our Slack workspace. We'll also add logic to process command-line arguments that will be a part of our Slack message. These command-line arguments will include the Jenkins build details. We will write in the following videos a Jenkins pipeline script which then calls this Go program with the necessary arguments to push a Slack message.
