We can turn right on red when there is not a sign saying we can't, but we can only do so after coming to a complete stop first. Plus, we must yield to pedestrians crossing the street at the crosswalk.

The bear sign and deer sign are to tell you there is usually a large amount of that animal in that area and to be careful and keep your eye out because the seem to cross a lot in that area and can do major damage to cars including death to the animal but also the occupants.

Also in America, the color of a sign means somthing
White on blue background = Information (services like rest area)
White on brown background = Recreation or tourist attraction
Black on white background = its a law(ie: Speed Limit 60 Mph)

Bears don't "attack" cars, but if you leave food in your car, they can and will
RIP the door off to get to it.

The "Divided Highway" sign is meant to let you know the first road you come to doesn't carry 2-way traffic and you shouldn't make a left turn onto it because then you will be going the wrong way on a on-way roadway. You have to cross the first road, then pass the median and then make your left turn. Generally you only see these in rural areas where highways may be divided but are not limited access meaning they do have regular intersections.

Lawrence’s segue ❤️‍🔥
I’ve lived in an area with many bears for 30 years. I have seen bears, but never had any problematic encounters.
Love your videos 😊

Though you can turn right on red, you’re supposed to come to a full stop before making the turn to make sure it’s clear. If you don’t stop first it’s running a red light.

My favorite road sign is the “Don’t tip your truck over” sign. I grew up in Texas so no mountain roads. The first time I saw that sign was in West Virginia and I’ve loved it since. It’s basically a truck popping a side wheelie with a circular arrow around it. Slow your roll before you roll, lol.

Interesting thing about highways here in the USA is that odd numbered roads run north-south; even numbers run east-west.😊

My friend was at a vacation cabin near Yellowstone National Park and he left food in the car overnight. The next morning there were muddy bear prints and dents all over the car including on the roof.

Tip for turning o RED...
If there's cars coming, DON'T GO
If there's no cars coming, GO.
The reason this is allowed is to keep traffic moving.

Just two comments. When I rented a car in New Zealand my biggest problem was the controls on the steering wheel. The turn signal levers and windshield wiper controls were reversed. So, I wanted to turn, naturally I turned on the wipers.
Bears attacking cars...I've lived in Alaska for the last 45 years and can't recall one attacking a car. But I do remember that a guy was riding a motorcycle down the "divided" highway outside of Anchorage and had a Grizzly Bear run into the side of his bike (kind of humorous when you think about it...T-boned by a bear).
Took a closer look at the intersection shown with all the signs. I've driven through that a hundred times. It's the exit off of the Interstate that I take when driving from Kingman AZ (or Las Vegas NV) to Lake Havasu.

Right on red AFTER you STOP. I have never seen a divided highway sign.

The "Divided Highway" sign is not used for "Interstates". It is only used for rural or semi-rural multi-lane highways which have perpendicular crossroads and which don't have On-and-Off ramps.
There are Amish communities in many States, but they are mainly located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. And yes, in most of their communities, they do use horse-and-carriages on local roads.

And normally, it’s only a RIGHT hand turn you can make on red, after stopping/yielding to any oncoming vehicles.

When I moved to UK I thought that driving on the left would be very difficult. Oddly, I found that was the easiest part of driving in the UK. The things I found much harder than the side of the road:
-Learning to navigate the roundabouts correctly, particularly the huge ones. I also struggled with the mini-roundabouts.
-Learning how to handle "meeting situations" - this is when there are cars parked on the side of the road, or the road is just very narrow and only one car can get through at a time. When a car comes at you from the other direction, this is a meeting situation. These almost never happen in the US - the roads are much wider, parking is typically only allowed if there is still room for 2 lanes of traffic and many more people have driveways, so there just aren't as many cars parked on the streets.
-Getting used to the narrow streets and parking spots
-Many intersections in the Uk only have a "give way (yield)" and thus you don't have to stop. Learning to turn into another street without stopping was a big learning curve.
-Learning all the different road signs
-Learning to look at the road surface for instructions. I came from Minnesota where there is lots of snow in the winter, so the only thing painted on the road surface are the lines.
-Getting used to the volume of motor bikes darting in and out of traffic and tons of bicycles.

Now that I am back in the US, I find that driving here is MUCH easier.

In the newest Beesleys video, they said they got stopped for going right on red and the police officer told them, they needed to stop before turning right on red.

Right on red... You just treat it like a STOP sign. Come to a stop... check for cross traffic and pedestrians... proceed when clear. The trickiest part occurs when directly oncoming traffic has a protected left turn (green arrow)... you must yield to them the same way you would yield to cross traffic coming from your left.
