Took this guy 10 minutes to change the alternator...but the shops charge 100 dollars for labor alone and take hours to get it done smh.... This video was very informative...I've done this once before myself but it's been so long I needed a reference to go back on ...thanks for the detailed information!

Am not sure but it suppose to be close just locate the alternator and follow the process the bolts probably in different locations but its not that hard you will figure it out

Can someone help me. I’m gonna replace my alternator this week but I have a question in regards to disconnecting the battery and the car memory. Do I have to use a car memory saver before I disconnect the battery. I have a Elantra 2013. I hear nightmares about people disconnecting the battery without using a car memory saver. And when they go to start the car after reconnecting. The radio becomes locked and the car idles rough. The video doesn’t mention it.

Hey thanks for the video. The lights in my Elantra 2011 go off at night while driving and then go back. Autoparts checked and they say batt and ALT are fine. Changed the bulbs. Any ideas? Thanks.

Well my sister have the 2019 Hyundai Elantra and I was trying to take the alternator off but it seems like it don't want to come off that screw that you loosen to Lucinda belt it did that but got tight. At 6:57 there is no strew right there on this model
