Well two First is this is not the policy anymore. And second is, get out and work for the government as a civilian. You get hiring preference as a veteran, and you'll make more money and your military time counts towards retirement, and they don't fucking own you!!! Way better. “Can limit” when I was in officer selection in 2018 many in my Platoon had tattoos, but one did get tossed from selection for a tattoo on his forearm. Kinda hit or miss

If you're in the army you're encouraged to get tattoos so that if your body is blown apart they can still identify you.

I remember a warrant officer as force retired because of his tattoos this was also 20 years ago, marines were known for tattoos, bar fights and also professionalism. Semper fi devils

they changed the order in 2022 no face, neck or hand tats is pretty much the only rule

If this was true it would be pathetic tattoos don't determine who you are or what you can do but I don't believe this is true at all because all military people seem to want to get tattoos as part of the brotherhood brotherhood
