I remember when Ishida Uryu was still a fodder and Ulquiorra ripped his arm off in the manga. That same Uryu negged Senjumaru and fighting Ichigo while he still holding back a lot so Ichigo won't have more lethal injuries. Uryu came a long way after getting his Vollständig, Shrift and better use of his Blut. Ofc he got more power from Yhwach's Auswählen which not only revived Yhwach's royal guards, but it also amped them.
