Great video and great explanation. Nevertheless I have a short question that you might be able to help me with. When I create a new project in TIA v15 and select a CPU1500 as hardware, this "new" simulation program always starts. Is there a way to make the old simulation environment work anyway? My S7-plc simulating module opens but doesn't connect to the TIA Portal. None of the LEDs in the simulated PLC lights up. What could be the cause of this?

Sir, can u explain me some possible reason why my s7 PLCSIM simulation modules doesn't run properly after I click the 'start simulation' button on my TIA v17? The software is open, but all types of communication are disabled, the CPU LED isn't blinking, I can't modify the CPU (Run or Stop mode), is like nothing happen when the pop up software opened.

I have a question.If I use data blocks instead of tags, how can I set their adresses?Because for example if I want to read a tempreture senzor's resistance, it should be set exactly to IW808, because that's the channel for resistance input?So how does my plc know that for example my "Tempreture_in" variable what is for real?
