I lost my 21yr old son 4.22.22 when he purchased an Oxy and it ended up being pressed Fentynal. Thankfully 2 people were arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder. We are loosing an entire generation to this drug! It is devastating to lose a child.

As a mother who’s son had a fentanyl poisoning but luckily survived. Told by the er doc it was a miracle. I am at a loss of where to start helping. 2 months to the day from his poisoning I lost a cousin to a cocaine OD w out fentanyl. I was ignorant to how bad the problem was before this happened. We all hear the stories & until it happens to you it doesn’t sink in! I’m so sorry for your loss & like you am doing what ever it takes to keep him alive now. The dread of another phone call is always there. We want to get the word out & save lives but have no direction of how to do it.

Mental health needs far more attention than our country is giving it. We've closed mental health facilities and families are unable to get help for loved ones. Even when police are called, families get no help but there is also a fear that the police will only make things worse. Mental health is extremely important. The War On Drugs should really be focused on the mental health aspect of drug use so that self-medicating becomes far less likely and those that are suffering can get the real help they need.
My heart goes out to anyone that loses a child, no matter the reason/cause....and I hope this story reaches and helps at least one person that needs to learn about it or needs to know they aren't alone!

Parents need to keep a very watchful eye out and educate your children about these dangers, especially now with our open borders and so much Fentanyl coming in right now. I miss my son so much he passed away on 11/6/2021, of course my son case is under investigation. They found 30mg of percs but I know my son OD in July of a Fetynal overdose. 💔I'm trying to find a way to cope with this. I tried everything to help my son😞 thank you for this video..I also found my son. I thought he was sleeping and all I wanted to do is wake him up but I knew he was gone💔I can't ever get the image out of my head
