I think your strategy is right on point! After recently moving into our new forever home. I have a designated craft room (#soblessed) but while unpacking and setting up (still in the weeds 😛) I realized that I too, need to focus on using my supplies. Not concerning myself with the latest roll outs.. it has been sort of like Christmas to find everything I forgot I had! So I’ve been discerning and reflective about what I truly want to use and what is just too much! This is giving me a welcome opportunity to pack up supplies and tools to donate. I found a private school that would love arts & craft supplies.. as well as a woman’s shelter that is in need of unplugged entertainment for children & their parent. I think knowing how well received my stash might be to someone in need. Is totally motivating me! Can you imagine if we all went through and shared some great items? Not old, outdated and half used.. but the items that we may still find enticing .. but we know we really don’t need so much? I hope I have inspired someone as much as Amy, always inspires me. Headed to buy that new book- congrats Amy! 🥳

Died at “Hoarding, I mean collecting” But I feel like it’s completely fine to use things that aren’t brand new! There’s always something similar and the technique and idea is the same! Always getting the newest and greatest isn’t always necessary.

Yes omg yes using our supplies I totally agree with because we got them at one time because we like it not to just let it sit on a shelf I love that about ur videos is that u show us how else we can apply our crafts to our journals or planners I do both so I definitely follow u and I am sooo pre ordering book tmrw it is something I know my sons will be interested in because they are always interested in my planner and all the craft supplies and they love using my supplies too I definitely love encouraging them to express themselves. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful spread and the process of making it. Watching it coming together was so inspiring. I’ve watched it about 4 times now! I really agree about using what we already have - I too have already got a small shop’s worth of supplies which I’ve invested money in and don’t have enough space for! However I slipped up on my own rule to not buy more at the moment by hunting down the giant date stamp you used and also the sticker book. Oops! ☀️🎨
