In this video we breakdown what exactly is a TRI-Blend T-shirt. Triblends are made up of 50% polyester, 25% cotton and 25% rayon, blended together.
You get the comfort from the cotton, durability from the polyester and the luxurious drape from the rayon.
Plus, since rayon is a substitute for silk you get the silky feel as well.
Another characteristic of Triblends is they usually have a really subtle, textured look. The reason for this is the natural and synthetic fibers take the dye differently, creating the heathered appearance.
As I stated, triblends are currently very trendy. They’re retro, yet provide a cool and hip vibe. Just the look of them gives off a higher perceived value than your average cotton tee.
Some of the brands out there offering triblends are Bella Canvas, Next Level, and American apparel.
