One of our most frequently asked questions is "what are my fabric options for tee shirts?" Or "What is the difference between cotton, polyester, poly-cotton, and tri-blends?" In this video we showcase our most popular tee shirt styles. All of the options shown in this video are considered as premium blanks and have a super soft feel. The big question is which will best meet your needs?
-100% Cotton: Cotton garments are the most organic option giving them a natural feel and an organic printing surface. Cotton tees offer the best printing surface for any type of screen printing ink.
-100% Polyester: This type of fabric is often nicknamed "Dryfit" or "Moisture Wicking" because of it's quick-drying properties. These types of garments are sure to keep you cool and dry on a hot summers day. These are the types of shirts that offer UPF sun protection and always look smooth and professional. These are great for for uniforms, teamwear, and outdoor adventures.
-Poly-Cotton Blends: Poly cotton blends are a blend of polyester and cotton. They are usually in the ratio of 50/50 (50% cotton and 50% polyester), or other combinations like the Next Level 60/40 polycotton. Blended fabrics such as this are our most popular option. The combine the moisture wicking benefits of polyester with the classic comfort of a cotton shirt. This is the best of both worlds.
-Tri-Blends: Tri-blends kick take poly-cottons from a level 10 to a level 11. In essence this type of shirt is 3 fabrics combined: Cotton, Polyester, and Synthetic Silk (or stretch). These are often considered the softest of the soft and are best reserved for fashionably vintage designs.
