Vivaro Service Reset Trafic Service Primastar Service Reset Spanner Light Reset

This is how to reset the service light or reset the spanner light on a Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic or Nissan PrimaStar, 2000 to 2012 models 1.9 and 2 L engines.

This resets the little spanner in the mileage display not the service vehicle soon light which is the car and spanner light in the main warning cluster. That light is a pre engine management light which if illuminated can indicate a possible fault developing in the ecu. A diagnostic tool will be required to identify the cause.

Have just done this - spanner light is off - didn`t go off the first time but has the second time. Held the brake pedal for about 25 seconds until lights went out.

Hi bud, just had the 2012 nissan primaster, just wondering if you new what the symbol to the immediate rite of the service spanner light is, almost looks like all engine or something.. cheers.
