be sure to make a save at the duty base before crossing over to cooling towers!!! i had the bug where the wierd nut wouldnt spawn, its likely that you have only 1 chance to get it!!!! therefore the save! also wait in the area of cooling towers for the emission to pass befor geting close to the cooling tower with the wierd nut meaning stay away a few 100 meters once you get closer than 100 meter the wierd nut should spawn hope this helps!! could be that the emission nocks it around/ away into the ground or whatever

I can confirm that if you detonate grenade trap while going for teleport anomaly the weird nut will disappear. I loaded my previous save just before going for teleport stairs and go for the werid nut first and the artefact was there where its supposed to be. You dont have to load entire pre cooling plant save file. Just dont trigger greande trap on the stair.

Mine isnt there. Spent 30 healthpacka walking around the fire looking for it. Nowhere.

Hey I’m just gonna say this it is bugged well at least for me like really bad I’ve tried to get it multiple times from both tornados and they don’t work and also for the fire nado I didn’t grab the gun like most did in early on playthroughs bc I checked the spatial anamoly and I went thru and the gun dpniro was still up there so ik for a fact that it is bugged I tried waiting like you did until the fire went out and ran down to the other platform still nothing and then the one yaniv didn’t work either I tried hoping on all the platforms went up there and checked no weird nut to be found idk what has happened idk if it’s my game or what but I’ve damn near tried every way I could think of to get this artifact and still nothing

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 100% COMPLETIONISTS:
OK, so I got screwed by this one like a lot of people and the artifact apparently fell from the platform and glitched into Oblivion. Although it appears I cannot get this artifact for my main save, I was able to reload an earlier save prior to entering the Cooling Tower zone for the first time to snag the artifact. The great news is that this DID pop the "Curiouser and curiouser!" Achievement for collecting all 6 Arch-artifacts, even though on that save I did not yet have all the others. What I am assuming this means is that you do NOT need to hoard all the regular artifacts, the scanners, or the gear blueprint flash drives at once in order to obtain the extremely grindy ultra rare collectible achievements "Miracle Hoarder", "Flash Royal", and "Scanning Complete". This is great news if like me you were hoarding a bunch of valuable artifacts and not selling because you want to 100% the game. I am now 99% sure these other items can be safely sold and you will almost certainly still pop the collectible achievements. If you don't need to hold all 6 of the Arch-artifacts at once, then there is no reason the other achievements should not work the same way.

After today's update on December 19th update 1.1 the artifact should now be appearing for everyone it never showed up for me untill today update good luck stalker's
