DIY Wooden Fidget Spinner That Glows In The Dark

In this video I'll show you how I made a DIY wooden fidget spinner toy. Fidget toys like this have become really popular recently and I have to admit they are weirdly addictive to play with.

I wanted to make a hand spinner for myself so I decided to use some scrap walnut, recycled skateboard bearings and some kirinite to make this one and guess what? It freakin' glows in the dark!

I'm really happy with the way this spinner toy, I know I made a few mistakes but that's part of it's appeal! I mean this was not made by a CNC machine or a 3d printer, it was made by a real, fallable human being (and that's me!). All in all it's a fun and tactile toy that will serve it's purpose well (warts and all!).

The glow in the dark is so cool, along with the ring. I see a lot of these spinners appearing in my recommended feed, must be a sign to make one! oh top tip with the graph paper and carbon paper

That is so cool! My son would love something like that. :) For me it is a sure win because glow in the dark always wins. :) That copy paper had me laughing because it brought back a memory from elementary school. We had blue copy paper and at the time I had a thing for eating paper so I ate some of the copy paper. My whole mouth turned blue. It was hilarious. My spit was blue for hours. :P I was a straight A student back then and also one of the class clowns. :)~ - Heidi
