Just graduated cdl school. We were told not to watch any YouTube videos during our time in school. I wish I had found you sooner. Anyway, starting my first trucking job at 64 years young and your videos will be on my playlist. Thanks for the great information.

It’s sad my school didn’t even teach us how to back up into a dock.
Took me 30 minutes to back it up into a dock my first 2 days driving but after watching your video… today it took me ( same dock) just a little under 5 minutes!
Thanks so much for taking your time to make this video and showing us your skills.
Truly appreciated it 😎!

I got my cdl last year with all endorsements except passenger, and no manual restriction. Did it at age 52, looking to leave the headaches of an office job for my dream job. These videos are amazing and the comments below inspirational. Wanted to get my CDL on my own versus having a mega carrier train me, even though I'll probably go there for actual trucking training. Wanted to save enough emergency funds to cover the cut in pay during my learning curve. Can't thank you all enough.

I went from CDL school to working for a company that never put me with a trainer. Yes I was that guy who struggled with the opposite myth. This video changed my life. Steering in the direction you want the front trailer to go totally changes everything. You might be getting a Christmas card from me this year.

I've been out of training for 6 years now and I've always been an avid "bottom of the steering wheel backer." When your first video caught my eye and you said that trying to guide the back of the trailer was the wrong approach I thought this guy is kind of full of 'it'. Well, I watched through all 3 of your backing videos and I am impressed. I can now see how guiding the front of the trailer like a wheelbarrow and focusing on the Kingpin and tandems is a much better approach. Kudos for teaching an old dog a new trick.

I've been backing car hauling trailers and goosenecks for years. I could thread them through a needle. My CDL trainer said big trailers are easier. I've been struggling so much to get it right, but when I mess up the trainer just stares at me like I'm stupid or something. This video taught me more in 8 minutes than I learned all day at CDL school. I'm going to try and put it into practice tomorrow. Thank you very much for taking the time to put this together.

Great videos. As a fellow instructor I really appreciate you showing real driving docks and locations not just the training lot. I am going to recommend the videos to my students and also use some of your instructions with my classes. Again great job.

I am so happy I found this channel. I am currently in my first we of CDL training and yesterday was my first time practicing backing up in a straight line. It did not go well. This video helped me to understand what to keep an eye on when backing. I now have a better understanding of when to turn the wheel and how much based on the pivot point and how I put pressure on the king pin. You have done an outstanding job explaining that with your camera angles. I can't wait to put what I've learned to the test. Thank you so much!!!! I am going to tell my fellow students about your channel. ❤️

Your videos are exactly what the doctor ordered. Just started the driving portion of Class A a few days ago, and this will be invaluable...especially the mirror views. Thanks for these vids.
