Micropython is not a fork of Python. Damian George wrote Micropython from the ground up specifically for embedded systems.

Hello Kevin a good video. Can you recommend a good book on Micropython. I have got 'Get started with Micropthon' but I need some thing a bit more advanced. I have brought two books on Micropython but they are useless. Instructions like self and __self__ I don't understand.
