Let's assemble the first part of the X-Carve, which includes the frame, waste board, t-tracks, side stiffeners, and side rails. I ran into a couple of hiccups along the way but managed to work through them. This thing is really starting to take shape!

Couple of thoughts: 1) Reminds me of putting together Heathkits back in the day, if you are old enough to remember them 2) Sympathy for factory workers in the second/third world who do this day in day out for pennies.

Building my X-Carve was a fun and enjoyable activity. As you are experiencing, it is not as daunting as it appears. Small steps leads to big results. Enjoy this process. You will love the outcome. Welcome to the world of X-Carve.

Hansel loves you so much and wants to play so desperately! Can't wait to see the 'machine' in action. Did you get it specifically to help with the crafting of the states of the marble machine?

Did using only one washer instead of two on the back board of the work surface cause anything to be out of alignment later? I'm running into the same issue with my assembly of the x-carve
