The esports organizations take advantage of the players with the most convoluted and complicated contracts. They make young players sign them and hold them hostage over the most minuscule details. It's such a shame that corporate greed is taking over a well-loved industry.

I'm sure all of this was considered when the org signed him. They'll jsut pay it. It's really not that much considering what they must be paying him for the contract to come EU.

I don't think this was a good move by the company. Suing a well known and liked pro player will definitely net them a bad reputation. Which is especially problematic if their entire market is located solely in the esports scene.

Isn't all league franchised pro league players' contract end at same date on mid November after worlds are done? Thought that was a thing for a while to keep shitty contract like this away so every FA players could be available during the "stove league" season.
