How do I import a KMZ/KML file into Civil 3D?

Launch Civil 3D and open your project.
Navigate to 'Insert' Tab:
Access the 'Insert' tab on the ribbon.
Select 'Import' - 'Google Earth (KML, KMZ)':
Choose the 'Google Earth (KML, KMZ)' option from the 'Import' menu.

i am using civil 3d 2018 theres no kmz extension
