When I got a Jawa moped the thyristor was bad. I found plans online to build something like this. 20 years later it still works. Pretty much the same thing.

Yes have built already my self, But I enjoy having timing adjustments right on the box + a quality rev limiter thats fully adjustable

Back in the late 60s I bought an Knight Kit for a (capacitor discharge ignition) I built it and it worked great made a huge difference. I had a hot rod car that had 12 to 1 compression and I had to change or clean spark plugs every 6, 000 miles, even using high grade full copper spark plug wires. The only draw back was I could now hear spark noise on my AM radio.LOL

Whereas in the Magneti Marelli BKL3B, what does the circuit look like? I like DIY DIY but in this case I prefer a boxed injection module or if you prefer to say “drowned” in epoxy. :)
